The Judicial Center will be closed on Monday February 16, 2026 in observance of the Presidents’ Day Holiday. We will also be closed on Tuesday February 17, 2026 in observance of the Mardi Gras Holiday. We will re-open on Wednesday February 18, 2026.

The Judicial Center will be closed in observance of the New Year’s Holiday on Wednesday December 31, 2025, Thursday January 1, 2026 and Friday January 2, 2026. We will re open on Monday January 5, 2026.
Christmas Holiday Closure
The Judicial Center will be closed in observance of the Christmas Holidays on Wednesday December 24, Thursday December 24, and Friday December 26. We will re open on Monday December 22, 2025.

The Judicial Center will be closed on Thursday November 27th and Friday November 28th in observance of the Thanksgiving Holidays. We will re open on Monday December 1, 2025.

The Judicial Center will be closed on Tuesday November 11, 2025 in observance of the Veteran’s Day Holiday. We will re open on Wednesday November 12, 2025.
Columbus Day Closure
The Judicial Center will be closed on Monday October 13, 2025 in observance of Columbus Day. We will re open on Tuesday October 14, 2025.
Labor Day Closure
The Judicial Center will be closed on Monday September 1, 2025 in observance of the Labor Day holiday. We will re open on Tuesday September 2, 2025.
July 4th Holiday Closure
The Judicial Center will be closed in observance of the July 4th holiday on Friday July 4, 2025. We will re open on Monday July 7, 2025
Juneteenth Holiday Closure
The Judicial Center will be closed on Friday June 20, 2025 in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. We will be OPEN on Thursday June 19, 2025. We will re open after the Friday June 20th closure on Monday June 23, 2025.
The Calcasieu Parish Clerk of Court will be CLOSED on Thursday June 19 but will be OPEN on Friday June 20, 2025.
Memorial Day Holiday Closure
The Judicial Center will be closed on Monday May 26th in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday. We will re open on Tuesday May 27th.
Mardi Gras Holiday Closure
The Judicial Center will be closed on Tuesday March 4 in observance of the Mardi Gras Holiday. We will re open on Wednesday March 5.
Presidents' Day Closure

Closure/Family Court Open
The Judicial Center will remain closed on Tuesday January 28, 2025 due to a water leak. The Family Court building WILL BE OPEN AND CONDUCTING COURT IN PERSON. Some judges will be conducting their court proceedings via Zoom. Please contact your respective division for details. The Judicial Center will re-open on Wednesday January 29, 2025 to the public.
Building Closure
The Judicial Center is closed today Monday January 27, 2025 due to a ruptured water main which has caused a significant amount of water to be leaked inside the building. The Family court building is open and conducting Juvenile and Domestic matters. Some Judge’s are conducting their court proceedings via Zoom.
